Match the drone family exactly
DJI locks each pack to its drone family: the Mavic 3 5000mAh battery fits the Mavic 3 line, the Mini 3 Series Battery Plus fits the Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro, the 4276mAh Air 3 pack fits the Air 3. A Mini battery never powers an Air and a Mavic Air pack never clips into a Mavic Air 2. Family first, capacity second.

Respect the intelligent circuit
Every DJI pack is an intelligent flight battery: cells plus a management board that tracks cycles, health and self-discharge. That board is why genuine packs report correctly in the DJI app and clones report errors or nothing. Flight firmware updates sometimes need the genuine pack to complete, so a clone battery can ground a drone that a genuine one keeps flying.
All packs here carry the same 1-year warranty.
Store at half charge
DJI's own maintenance guide says to discharge a battery to 40 to 65 percent, about the third indicator light, if it will sit unused for more than 10 days. DJI packs auto-discharge toward storage level after several days idle, which is the circuit protecting the cells. Never store a pack full or empty, and never fly one down to zero: land around 15 percent to keep the cycle count doing real work.
A pack stored right lasts its 200 to 300 cycles. A pack stored full swells early.

DJI names its drones by family, and each family owns its battery. Knowing the line narrows eighteen packs down to one.
The under-249g line
The Mini family is the registration-free line, and its packs are the lightest here. The original Mavic Mini runs the 18Wh pack at $55.99; the Mini 2, Mini 2 SE, Mini SE and Mini 4K share the 2400mAh pack at $49.99; the Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro take the Intelligent Battery Plus at 28.41Wh for $69.99; and the newest Mini 5 Pro ships a 2788mAh battery and charger kit at $149.99. Cross-generation swaps do not work: a Mini 2 pack does not fit a Mini 3.
The folding camera lines
The Mavic classics run from the Mavic Pro's 11.4V 3830mAh pack at $69.99 through the Mavic Air at $129.99, the Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S sharing a 3750mAh pack at $79.99, the Mavic 2 Series 15.4V 3850mAh at $96.99, and the Mavic 3 5000mAh at $129.99. Care, Storage and the Swelling Question
DJI intelligent packs live or die by how they are stored, and swelling is the failure mode every pilot should recognize.
How long a DJI pack lasts
DJI warrants its batteries to 200 charge cycles, and real-world packs deliver 200 to 300 full cycles or about 2 to 3 seasons. Land at 15 percent or above rather than flying to zero, because deep discharges burn cycle life for nothing. The DJI app shows each pack's cycle count and cell health, so the replacement moment is visible before the flight time collapses.
The 40 to 65 percent rule
DJI's maintenance guide is specific: discharge to 40 to 65 percent, the third indicator light, before storage longer than 10 days. The pack's auto-discharge circuit handles this on its own after several idle days, gently, which is why a pack left in the case comes down from full by itself. Store packs cool and dry, out of a hot car, and never fully charged for a season.
What to do with a puffed pack
DJI's official guidance is explicit: never use a swollen or cracked battery. Swelling means the lithium-polymer chemistry inside is breaking down, and continued use risks fire. Stop flying it, stop charging it, do not puncture it, and take it to a lithium battery recycling point. Swelling comes from heat, full-charge storage, deep discharges and age, which is why the two cards beside this one exist.

Why genuine matters in a flying machine
Every pack on this page is genuine DJI or official stock. The intelligent circuit inside reports cycle count, cell voltage and health to the drone, and flight firmware updates sometimes check for it. A clone pack can report errors, fail a firmware gate, or worse, deliver cells that sag under load mid-flight. A drone falls out of the sky when a battery lies; genuine packs do not lie.
What we check before dispatch
Each battery runs a charge-discharge cycle and a capacity measurement on the bench before shipment, and the measured capacity is logged against the rated number: 5000mAh for the Mavic 3, 4276mAh for the Air 3, 5870mAh for the Phantom 4. A pack that measures low stays on the bench, because in flight there is no roadside.
