iRobot Roomba Battery
iRobot Roomba Replacement Batteries
Your Roomba cleaning time dropped from 90 minutes to 30? That's a dying battery — not a broken robot.
ZhanPeng replacement batteries restore factory-spec runtime (and often beat it) using A-grade LG / Samsung 18650 and INR cells, paired with an iRobot-decoded BMS so your i7, j7 or s9 charges and docks exactly like new.
Every pack is cycle-tested to 800+ charges before it ships.
60-day no-questions returns. 12-month warranty.

Professional-Grade Power for Your Smart Home
A robot vacuum is only as effective as its power source. We focus on power solutions that deliver high performance for automated cleaning.
- Premium Grade A Cells: We use high-density lithium-ion and Ni-MH cells based on your model. These cells provide a longer cycle life and slower capacity loss. Experience significantly longer runtimes compared to standard aftermarket alternatives.
- Advanced Battery Management System (BMS): Safety is our priority. Each battery has a smart BMS. It offers protection against overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and overheating.
- 100% Decoded & Compatible: Our batteries match original specs 1:1. This ensures smooth communication with iRobot’s firmware. No error codes, no charging issues—just seamless "plug-and-play" integration.
- Rigorous Quality Testing: Each unit goes through strict quality checks. This ensures it meets international safety standards (CE, FCC, RoHS). You can have peace of mind for you and your family.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How do I know my Roomba battery needs replacing, not the whole robot?
A: Three signs:
(1) cleaning time drops below 50% of when it was new
(e.g. an i7 going from 75 min to 35 min);
(2) it returns to dock mid-job repeatedly;
(3) it won't hold a charge overnight even on a
verified working base. If you see any of these, it's the battery — the
robot itself typically lasts 8-10 years.
Q2: Can I upgrade to a higher-mAh battery without damaging my Roomba?
A: Yes for 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 series (NiMH) — going from stock
3000 mAh to 4400 mAh is safe and adds roughly 30 minutes of runtime,
because voltage stays the same (14.4V). For i / e / j / s series
(lithium-ion with embedded BMS), you must match the original part
number — the firmware will refuse to charge an unrecognised pack.
Q3: Why does my Roomba show "Charging Error 6" or "Error 7" with a new battery?
A: 95% of the time this is the pull-tab still in place, dirty contacts,
or a soft reset is needed. Steps: remove pull tab → wipe both pack
contacts and Home Base pins with a dry cloth → hold the CLEAN button
10 seconds until you hear a tone → place on Home Base for 16 hours
uninterrupted (first charge needs a full conditioning cycle).
Q4: How long should a Roomba battery last?
A: Lithium-ion (i/e/j/s series): 400-600 cycles at original capacity,
roughly 2-3 years of daily use. NiMH (600/700/800/900): 300-500 cycles,
roughly 1.5-2 years. ZhanPeng packs are rated for 800+ cycles tested in
our lab, but real-world depends on how often it deep-discharges.
Q5: Will a third-party battery void my iRobot warranty?
A: If your robot is still under iRobot's 1-year warranty, yes —
swapping the battery voids it. Past that window there's nothing to void,
and our 24-month warranty on the battery itself starts from purchase.
Q6: How should I store a Roomba battery if I'm not using the robot?
A: Charge it to ~50%, remove from the robot, and keep it in a dry place
between 50-77°F (10-25°C). Top up to 50% every 3 months. Never store
a Roomba battery fully drained — lithium-ion packs can enter
deep-discharge protection and become un-revivable after ~6 months at 0%.
