Replacement batteries and adapters FAQ
Find frequently asked questions about laptop batteries, medical device batteries and household batteries.
The best way is to check the part number on your battery or adapter label. You can search our website by using your laptop’s model number. You’ll usually find it on the bottom case.
Note: For adapters, the output voltage (V) must match your original equipment exactly.
If you're unsure, reach out to our support team at support@laptopbatteriesadapters.com. Send a photo of your old battery or adapter. We’ll help you find the right match!
For batteries: Yes! You can choose a battery with a higher capacity (measured in mAh or Wh), which will provide a longer running time. Higher capacity batteries, like 9-cell vs. 6-cell, may be bigger. They might stick out a bit from the bottom or back of your laptop.
You can use an adapter with higher wattage safely. For example, a 90W adapter works for a laptop that needs 65W. Your laptop will only draw the power it needs. However, the voltage (V) must be exactly the same.
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All our laptop batteries use 100% new, Grade A cells. This guarantees stable performance and long life. They have a smart Battery Management System (BMS). It protects against over-charging, over-discharging, over-heating, and short circuits. Furthermore, our products are CE, FCC, and RoHS certified.
We specialize in premium replacement batteries and adapters. We make our products through expert third-party factories. They meet or even exceed the original OEM specifications. This lets us give you a high-quality, reliable, and safe product. Plus, it costs much less than pricey branded OEM parts.
We stand behind the quality of our products. We offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days for a refund. Also, all our batteries and adapters have a 1-Year Replacement Warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturer defects.
Order processing typically takes 0-3 business days. Standard shipping usually takes 7-15 business days, depending on your destination.
Note: Shipping times may be longer than usual. This is due to strict international rules on lithium-ion batteries.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its progress.
For the best performance and longest life from your new battery, follow these tips:
Initial Calibration: Charge the battery to 100% for the first use. Then, let it discharge to around 10%-15% before recharging. Repeat this cycle 2-3 times to fully activate the cells.
Temperature Control: Keep your laptop away from extreme heat or cold. High temperatures degrade battery cells quickly.
Unplug Sometimes:If you often keep your laptop plugged in, let the battery drop to 40-50% at least once a month. This helps keep the cells active.
Yes. We understand that medical batteries are mission-critical. We use top-quality Grade A cells in our replacement batteries. These batteries are for Philips AEDs, Inogen One concentrators, and ResMed CPAPs. They also go through strict factory testing. They meet or surpass the original manufacturer's specs for runtime and reliability.
Most medical-grade lithium-ion batteries need replacement every 2 to 3 years. They may also require a change after 300-500 charge cycles, depending on how often they are used. If your device shows a "low battery" alert too soon or doesn’t hold a charge, it’s time to replace it. This is important for patient safety.
Not at all. Our household batteries for vacuums, drones, and power tools have built-in protection circuits. These chips work with your device like a regular battery. They stop problems like over-voltage and high current draw. This keeps your equipment 100% safe.
